Electric Castle - No Festival
No festival – A Concert for No One
The Challenge
Electric Castle is more than a festival—it’s an experience.
But in the midst of the pandemic, live music came to a halt. No crowds.
No energy from the audience. Just silence.
Yet, music found a way.
Three iconic Romanian bands—Subcarpați, Vița de Vie, and Golan—came together at Banffy Castle for
a one-of-a-kind performance: a concert with no audience. A raw, intimate moment in an empty festival space.
A statement that music doesn’t stop, even when the world does.
Our role was to help bring this vision to life, managing footage on-site and shaping the concert sequences in the final documentary.
We crafted a powerful, immersive edit that reflected both the absence and the resilience of live music.
Multi-camera concert editing: Selecting the best angles from 8+ cameras to capture the essence of each performance.
Rhythmic pacing: Cutting to the beat, maintaining the energy of a real live show.
Atmospheric visuals: Wide shots of the empty venue, reinforcing the eerie yet hopeful mood.
The Result
A film that doesn’t just document a concert—it tells a story of adaptation, passion, and the unbreakable spirit of music.
Haunting. Powerful. A tribute to artists and the stage, even in the absence of an audience.
